Practical AI automation for small industrial businesses
Automate inquiry handling, quotation preparation, and customer follow-ups — without replacing the systems your team already uses.
Most small industrial businesses don’t lose work because they can’t do the job. They lose it in the gap between an inquiry arriving and a quote going out. That gap is where we work.
Inquiry processing
Every inquiry that lands — email, web form, WhatsApp, a PDF drawing, or a paragraph of messy text — gets read and turned into a structured record: who it’s from, what they want, quantity, material, deadline, and what’s missing. You confirm the record. It does not reply to your customers on its own.
Quote preparation
Your pricing rules and current material costs are used to build a quote draft. The draft shows its work — which numbers came from where. Anything outside your normal range is flagged for you to look at. A person approves every quote before it goes out.
Follow-up workflows
Quotes that haven’t been answered, inquiries that stalled, orders that need a check-in — these get queued and drafted on a schedule you set. You review and send. Nothing goes out under your name without you seeing it first.
Who this is for
Small industrial businesses — machine shops, fabricators, distributors, small factories — with roughly 10 to 100 people. The owner or operations manager is still the one reading the inquiries and writing the quotes. There’s no IT department, and no plan to hire one. If your team already runs on email, a spreadsheet, and whatever ERP or shop software you bought years ago, this is built for that.
How it works
- We look at how inquiries and quotes actually move through your shop today.
- We connect the automation to the tools you already use — your inbox, your forms, your spreadsheet or ERP. Nothing gets replaced.
- It starts reading new inquiries and preparing drafts alongside your team.
- You review, correct, and approve. Those corrections teach it your pricing and your language.
Where this comes from
TechFoor runs two production lines in Shenzhen — CNC machining and sheet metal fabrication. We didn’t start out selling software. We built these automations for our own shop, because inquiry handling, quoting, and follow-ups were eating our own time. Our quote engine and our inquiry pipeline run in production today, on our own work. The service we offer is the same thing we built for ourselves.
